Looking to connect with advisors and future developers who can help guide our growth and success.

Careers

We’re Funatic Games, indie at heart, obsessed with mechanics, and serious about silly ideas. We’re building a studio where autonomy, creativity, and gameplay-first thinking lead the way. If that sounds like your kind of field, we’ll want you on our team once we start hiring.

General Application – Funatic Games

Funatic Games is an independent studio crafting physics-driven, deeply replayable games that are as fun to watch as they are to play. While we’re still a small team, we’re gearing up for growth—and we’re always excited to meet future collaborators. This general application is for talented individuals across disciplines—whether you're an artist, programmer, game designer, producer, or some brilliant combination of all three. If you love building quirky, accessible games with tight mechanics and high polish, we want to hear from you.

What You Might Work On

  • Collaborating closely on core game features with a focus on tactile, physics-based gameplay
  • Contributing ideas on everything from game loops to live service content
  • Helping define and shape the creative direction of our games
  • Pitching in wherever needed—we value team members who wear multiple hats
  • Participating in playtests and offering thoughtful, constructive feedback

What We’re Looking For

  • A passion for games that are simple to pick up, hard to master
  • Strong communication skills and comfort in a collaborative, transparent environment
  • Experience in Unity (or another engine if your skillset is transferable)
  • A love of mechanics, balance, and player experience
  • Willingness to adapt and grow with a scrappy, creative team
  • Bonus: experience in stylized art, audio design, UI/UX, or multiplayer networking

What We Offer (Once We’re Fully Up and Running)

  • A chance to help build something from the ground up
  • A remote-friendly, trust-based working culture
  • Creative ownership and input into every project
  • Flexible hours and a healthy respect for work-life balance
  • Revenue share or equity opportunities for early team members

If you're excited by the idea of shaping the DNA of a new indie studio, building weird and wonderful things, and working with people who actually play the games they make, we’d love to keep your name on file.

Drop us a note, a link to your portfolio, or even a prototype—we're listening.
